I thought I would not only challenge myself, but you as well to 1 week of the raw vegan challenge. Now, I must admit that I absolutely love eating all of my food baked or cooked.  This will definitely be a challenging week for me. I know I can do it though and I know you can as well. Who knows, we might just enjoy it!

Raw Vegan Guidelines

  • No animal products including dairy, meat, eggs, honey, processed sugar or anything else that comes from animals.
  • Drink LOTS of water.
  • Eat as much as you want-fresh fruit, raw vegetables, smoothies, juice, etc.
  • Eat everything in the raw state, meaning everything is either completely raw or cooked under 120 degree F. or lower.
  • To keep warm, drink hot water with lemon.

I look up to those who can manage to eat raw foods day in and day out. I know it can be done and I love to challenge myself, so why not? Are you with me? If not, keep reading.

The raw vegan diet is probably one of the healthiest lifestyles to live by. You receive much more of the nutrients when the food is raw and you overall lead a healthier lifestyle. Here is a video by FullyRawKristina explaining all of the reasons why you should at least try going “raw” for one week. Are you ready to go raw?

I created a menu for 7 days that contains breakfast, lunch and dinner for the complete week. I plan to go by it and feel free to use it yourself if you aren’t sure what to eat.

Other ideas to find ways to eat through out the week include Pinterest, Youtube and Instagram. All will help you find delicious raw meals to go by.

These are a few appliances that I plan to purchase to make going raw easier. I don’t guarantee that they are the best, since I haven’t tried them out myself yet. So excited to get started juicing, dehydrating and blending though!
